Welcome to the Dallas Hub at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport! DFW Airport serves as the southwestern hub of American Flight Airways operations. Flights to destinations in the US, Latin America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia originate from the DFW Hub. AFA flights originate out of terminal B at DFW. DFW Airport is the second largest in the United States and third largest in the world. The airport has 3 control towers (east, west, and center) which provide coverage for the airport's 5 north-south parallel runways and 2 diagonal runways. Dallas was AFA's 3rd largest superhub beginning operations in 1998 and continues to be a productive hub for American Flight Airways southwestern operations.

All the charters for the hub, the few charters we actually have, can now be found in the new APG Charter section by Matt Butterworth. Here is the link: http://apgcharter.co.cc/

I have posted some new charters this week, mainly for sports fans. We need some more pilots to fly the other charters that have been there for a while.

July Hub Report
Dallas Hub
WOOHOO we had an awesome month. We are up from June and this is good. It shows we have pilots flying. We had 6 flying online this month for 143.01 VATSIM hours. We had a total of 281 flights for 797.24 hours. Hours flown during the Mystery Airport Comp will not count for the July totals as they are not yet logged. So unofficially we broke 800 hours for the month.
I again urge all Dallas pilots to join the forums. News, Events, How To, and General Chat abound.
If you haven’t already give VATSIM a try. It’s fun and adds to the overall flight sim experience. Also all APG online events are flown on the VATSIM network so you can meet your fellow pilots this way.
The numbers for the month are as follows.
32 Active
3 Inactive
6 LOA
3 Terminated
Jimmy Edwards once again is Pilot of the month. 220.09 hours and 55 flights
Wayne Gary is the July VATSIM Top Pilot with 61.07 online hours.
Brian Molnar is our rookie of the month with 19 flights and 21.08 hours.
